I ordered two pairs of these, and both did not last long at all (each were toast after one season). Now granted, I was leading hikes through pumice fields on a volcano which is very harsh on boots and gaiters! I remember one of the first times wearing them a button popped off. Also, the lower, black material got cut up pretty quickly. The black strap that goes underneath your boot could be reinforced and stronger. It was weak. Lastly, I am rather short and have short legs. The regular size was too long on me, so the gaiters were very bunchy looking. Luckily our supervisors allowed us to wear all black gaiters from other vendors.
